Bio
Juan Arguello is an accomplished recording and touring bassist with endorsements from integral companies that shape the music industry such as Ernie Ball, Aguilar, SKB, Enki & Radial Engineering.
Juan’s passion for music was nurtured at two of the nation’s top contemporary music colleges in the heart of the music industry at Musician’s Institute (Hollywood, California) & Los Angeles College of Music (Pasadena, California) where he was awarded a Bachelor’s & Associate’s degree in bass music performance.
His expertise and professionalism was easily recognized by faculty at Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) where he was hired as faculty promptly after graduation to assist students with learning the versatilities of multiple genres.
Juan’s diverse background in the music industry does not stop at academics. Juan has played across the entire United States at the legendary Van’s Warped Tour in summer 2018 and 2019 (25th Anniversary Tour) where Grammy award-winning bands such as Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Weezer & Katy Perry have made their name.
Juan’s expertise lead him across the globe in Europe in
2019, where he played alongside Slaves & Escape the Fate on the latter’s 10-year “This War is Ours” album anniversary tour. Touring with Eyes Set to Kill & Otep has not only lead him all over the continental US, but Hawaii as well.
Hailing from Quito, Ecuador, Juan has also made sure to make an impact in his hometown with his original band Arabella, their hit single “Enough” ranked 8th on the biggest Ecuadorian radio station broadcasting throughout the entire country.
His success with Arabella lead to a country-
wide tour in 2015. Juan has also built an impressive foundation in his country playing at Casa de
la Cultura Ecuatoriana, one of Ecuador’s most famous venues where legends such as Deep Purple & Guns ’n’ Roses’ Slash have graced the stage.
Here he performed with Ecuadorian pop star Valentina Lopez (a.k.a. Platinum Producer Kuinvi) supporting Nickelodeon pop giants Big Time Rush.
Juan’s musical accomplishments working in Los Angeles with his original bands such as Attaloss, The World Over, Survive the Tide (previously known as Kira Alexi) and She Tastes the
Sun has garnered the attention of acclaimed music producers such as Steve Ornest of Total Access Recording (Black Sabbath & Dio), John Avila of the legendary Oingo Boingo, Hiram
Hernandez (Dragged Under & Killswitch Engage’s Howard Jones) and Siegfried Meier (Face to Face & Kittie).
